Section 1.1
There is one God (Deut. 6:4), Creator of all things (Rev. 4:11), who is infinitely perfect (Matt. 5:48), existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt.28:19).
第1.1節： 獨一的神（申命記6:4），創造了萬物（啟示錄4:11），祂是無限完美的（馬太福音5:48），永恆地存在於三個位格中：父、子、和聖靈（馬太福音28:19）。
Section 1.2
Jesus Christ is the true God and true man (Phil. 2:6–11). He was sent by the Father (John 20:21), conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary (Luke 1:34–38). He died on the cross, the Just for the unjust (1 Pet. 3:18), as a substitutionary sacrifice (Heb. 2:9), and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood (Rom. 5:9). He rose from the dead according to the Scriptures (1 Cor. 15:3–4). He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest (Heb. 8:1). He will come again to establish His Kingdom of righteousness and peace (Isa. 9:6–7).

Section 1.3
The Holy Spirit is a divine person (John 14:16–18), sent to indwell, guide, teach, gift, empower, and bear His fruit in every believer (John 16:13; 1 Cor. 12:4, 11; Acts 1:8; Gal. 5:22–23). He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:7–11).
第1.3節： 聖靈是一位神聖的位格（約翰福音14:16-18），被差來住在信徒裡面，引導、教導、賜下恩賜、加添力量，並在每個信徒裡結出祂的果子（約翰福音16:13；哥林多前書12:4,11；使徒行傳1:8；加拉太書5:22-23）。祂使世人知罪、知義、知審判（約翰福音16:7-11）。
Section 1.4
The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for our salvation. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice (2 Pet. 1:20–21; 2 Tim. 3:15–17).
第1.4節： 新舊約聖經在原初所寫的是無誤的，是神口裡所出的話，完全啟示了祂對我們得救的旨意。它們是基督徒信仰和實踐的唯一和神聖的準則（彼得後書1:20-21；提摩太後書3:15-17）。
Section 1.5
Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God; he fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The portion of the impenitent and unbelieving is existence forever in conscious torment; and that of the believer, in everlasting joy and bliss. (Gen. 1:27; Rom. 3:23; 1 Cor. 15:20–23; Rev. 21:8; Rev. 21:1–4)
第1.5節： 人起初是按著神的形象和樣式造的（創世記1:27），因不順從而墮落，因此招致了身體和靈魂的死。所有的人生來就有罪性，與神的生命隔絕，只有藉著耶穌基督的贖罪工作才能得救。不悔改、不信的人將永遠在有意識的痛苦中存留；信徒則要在永恆的喜樂與福樂中（羅馬書3:23；哥林多前書15:20-23；啟示錄21:8；21:1-4）。
Section 1.6
Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all people (1 John 2:2). Those who repent and believe in Him are justified by grace through faith (Rom. 3:21–24), born again of the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:4–7), delivered from the dominion of darkness, transferred into the Kingdom of God’s Son (Col. 1:13), granted the gift of eternal life, and adopted as the children of God (Rom. 8:14–16; John 1:12).
第1.6節： 耶穌基督為所有人預備了救恩（約翰一書2:2）。那些悔改並信祂的人因信稱義，因聖靈重生，從黑暗的權勢中被拯救，進入神兒子的國度，得著永生的恩賜，並被收養為神的兒女（羅馬書3:21-24；歌羅西書1:13）。
Section 1.7
It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. (1 Thess. 5:23; Acts 1:8; Rom. 6:1–14)
第1.7節： 神的旨意是每個信徒都應被聖靈充滿，並完全成聖，離開罪和世界，完全奉獻給神的旨意，從而獲得過聖潔生活和有效事奉的能力。這既是一個危機，也是信徒信主後生命中的一個漸進經歷（帖撒羅尼迦前書5:23；使徒行傳1:8；羅馬書6:1-14）。
Section 1.8
Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the whole person (Isa. 53:4–5; Matt. 8:16–17). Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures (James 5:13–16) as privileges for the Church in this present age (Acts 4:30).
第1.8節： 主耶穌基督的救贖工作為人的全人醫治提供了恩典（以賽亞書53:4-5；馬太福音8:16-17）。聖經教導教會有為病人禱告和抹油的特權（雅各書5:13-16），這是當今時代教會的恩典（使徒行傳4:30）。
Section 1.9
The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all nations. The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. (Eph. 1:22–23; Matt. 28:19–20; Acts 2:41–47)
第1.9節： 教會由所有相信主耶穌基督的人組成，他們藉著祂的血得救，並因聖靈重生。基督是教會的頭，祂命令教會去到全世界作見證，向萬國傳講福音（以弗所書1:22-23；馬太福音28:19-20）。地方教會是信徒組成的團體，他們聚集在一起敬拜神，藉著神的話語得造就，進行禱告、團契，宣揚福音，並遵守洗禮和聖餐的禮儀（使徒行傳2:41-47）。
Section 1.10
There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life; for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment. (1 Cor. 15:20–23; John 5:28–29)
第1.10節： 義人和不義的人都要復活；義人復活得生，不義人復活受審判（哥林多前書15:20-23；約翰福音5:28-29）。
Section 1.11
The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and premillennial. This is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service. (Heb. 10:37; Luke 21:27; Titus 2:11–14)
第1.11節： 主耶穌基督的再來是迫近的，祂的再來將是親自的、可見的、在千禧年前發生的。這是信徒有福的盼望，也是激勵聖潔生活和忠心事奉的重要真理（希伯來書10:37；路加福音21:27；提多書2:11-14）。
Note
Edits to Sections 1.5, 1.7, 1.9, 1.10, and 1.11 (including a Preamble) were presented to 2023 General Council. All but one was adopted but need to be adopted verbatim at 2025 General Council in order to be final. The proposal to Section 1.7 was sent back to the Board of Directors and their new proposal, if any, will be brought to 2025 General Council.
